In some of the latest incidents, we have come to experience the build quality of Skoda Slavia even though the official GNCAP crash test has not happened yet.

This video of the Skoda Slavia shows that it might very well score a decent score on the GNCAP test displaying its safety prowess. Slavia is a premium mid-size sedan that is based on the MQB A0 IN platform of the VW-Skoda Group as a part of its India 2.0 strategy. The video has been uploaded by Prateek Singh on his YouTube channel. He regularly posts videos related to the real-life performance of cars in terms of safety. As per the information about this incident, it has been reported from Sambalpur-Bargarh in Odisha. Reportedly, the sedan was being driven at around 130 km/h on the highway. 4 people were traveling in the sedan. Suddenly, the truck in front of Slavia applied brakes for some reason. However, the driver of the Slavia was not able to react quickly enough and ended up colliding with the truck.

The results are clear from the visuals. The front section of the sedan is heavily damaged from one side. The bonnet, bumper, headlights, side pillars, door panels, and windshield are all destroyed to a large extent. However, only 2 people suffered some injuries despite the seriousness of the event. This speaks volumes about the build quality of Slavia. That is the reason why we expect the premium mid-size sedan to score a 5-star safety rating at the GNCAP. Kushaq and Taigun recently scored 5-star ratings and Slavia is based on the same platform.
